Splish Splash!

Kadon and Mcayden think Daddy is a great jungle gym. They had a lot of fun climbing all over him in the water. The Bountiful City pool is so much fun. There is a playground, a "river" and other fun water activities. The boys had a blast--and so did their daddies!
Rick was in Utah for work and took Mcayden with him so he could spend time with our families and some friends. Mcayden had a lot of fun with his cousins and his buddy, Kadon.

Harley Man

Rick enjoys the perks of his job---riding different bikes whenever he wants. Not too shabby, huh? Mcayden makes the sound of the motorcycle and whenever he sees one, he looks to see if it's Daddy.

Sleepy Head

Mcayden sleeps in some cute positions sometimes. I especially liked this one, with his feet on the wall. He sleeps with his little doggy by his side and when he's having a hard time falling asleep, he'll squeek it's nose for a while.

1 Year Check-up

Mcayden is another year older and as healthy as a horse! Dr. Lewis blew up a glove for him to play with and let him try out her stethascope. He was very entertained. Rick and I still can't believe he's already a year old!

Will You Be My Valentine?

For Valentine's Day we went to Cucina!Cucina!, in Issaquah. Mcayden entertained the other couples during dinner. We even met a couple from Brazil--they kept laughing at him being silly and he was loving it! Here he is looking at his first Valentine's Day card from Mommy & Daddy.

After the Party

What a party! We all had so much fun. Mcayden "worked" the party. He went around to everyone at the party and "visited" with them. At one point, he stood infront of everyone and waved his arms and started talking really loudly. Mommy interpreted by saying, "I just want to thank you all for coming to my birthday party..." Everyone started laughing.
Mcayden ate plenty of food--he went around and got food from everyone during the party (in addition to his own plate). He loves Brazilian food and is truly our "Brazilian baby"!

Birthday Cake

Mcayden loved his birthday cake. After his first bite, he began saying, "mmmm...mmmm" as he ate the cake! Yummy! We had a "Brazilian" birthday since he is our "Brazilian baby". We had a delicious Brazilian dinner (beans, rice, chicken, cheese bread, farofa, maioneisa, guarana, etc.) He was spoiled with gifts. We opened them once everyone had left because there was so much going on during the party. We have awesome friends and had a really fun time! We joked the party was also a celebration for Rick and I--we survived the first year!
