Gingerbread Houses

Mcayden goes to a great preschool! It has been so much fun this Christmas season b/c he comes home with all kinds of fun Christmas projects, ornaments, pictures, etc. He was so excited about his gingerbread house. Really, he couldn't wait to eat it.

IceSkating in Old Town!

Dirty Feet

During the summer when the kids feet get dirty from playing outside, Rick will take them into the bathroom and wash their feet in the sink. Here they are the other day washing their feet--not because they're dirty, not because they're clean, just because they can!

A Nest

Mcayden has an amazing imagination. He constantly surprises me with the things he thinks up. Here is one of his latest creations--a nest. He buries himself underneath and then pokes his head out. He is so funny.

Juggling

Yes, so I have been slacking on my blog a bit. I know. Life is crazy and honestly when is it not? A friend of mine asked me how I keep my life in balance. I've come to the conclusion that for me life isn't a balancing act, it's a juggling act. Sometimes I drop a ball or two, have to pick them back up and keep on juggling. So, this blog (being one of those balls) has been picked back up.
So, enjoy a glimps of the past two months--our update.

Halloween--All Month Long

Do you remember when Halloween was just one night in October? If you do, you're probably old, like me. We would go trick-or-treating once on October 31 and that was it--minus the costume parade in elementary school and the Halloween dance in Jr. High.

Well, apparently that is the Halloween of the past. Now, Halloween is celebrated all month long with parties, carnivals, pre-trick-or-treating events...you name it. I like Halloween and think it's a lot of fun to dress up and eat lots of candy, but we had to turn down some invites just to keep our sanity this year. Spooky!
It sure was a fun-filled month!
Rick and Mcayden were "Greasers" and Addison and I were "50's Girls". My mom always made our costumes, so this year I gave it a go and I made Addison's poodle skirt! It turned out really cute and she loved wearing it (that was fun for me).
Happy Halloween!

Second Rinse

Rick and I were talking in the hallway, after getting the kids bathed and dressed for bed, when we heard a "SPLASH!" We literally turn around to see Addison sitting in the bathtub with a big grin on her face. The water hadn't even had time to drain from when we took her out of the bath, so she got a second rinse.
